Stratos UI

Components

Every component in the alpha, rendered live. Renamed ones are flagged, and the six that didn't exist in older UI frameworks are marked New.

Buttons

v5's per-colour classes are gone. A button now composes a variant (.btn-solid, .btn-outline, .btn-subtle, .btn-text) with a theme token (.theme-primary).

Badges

Accordion

Rebuilt on native <details>/<summary>. The name attribute gives you exclusive groups — no Collapse JS at all.

Zero JavaScript
The browser handles show/hide. Nothing to initialise, and it works before your bundle loads.
Exclusive by name
Sharing a name makes opening one close the others — this replaces data-bs-parent.
Searchable and linkable
Browser find-in-page can open a closed <details>, which a div-based accordion never could.

Dialog was Modal

Built on the native <dialog> element — the browser supplies the backdrop, focus trap and inert top layer, so .modal-dialog and .modal-content are gone.

Drawer was Offcanvas

Also a native <dialog>. Four edges.

Nav & tabs

Pills Tabs

Cycle time, review latency and carryover — measured from real events rather than board columns.

Specs link straight to the work, so a closed ticket updates the doc that describes it.

Figma frames attach to initiatives and version alongside the release they ship in.

Stepper New

CSS-only. Vertical by default, horizontal from a breakpoint up.

Collapse

Collapse still exists for arbitrary content. For accordions, reach for <details> instead — it needs no JavaScript.

Toasts

Tooltip & popover

Both moved from Popper to Floating UI; the popperConfig option is now floatingConfig. Both are opt-in and initialised in main.js.

Toggler New

A generic class/attribute toggler — no custom JavaScript needed.

Click to toggle theme-primary on this box.

Default dialog

The backdrop is the native ::backdrop pseudo-element, blurred with backdrop-filter. Focus is trapped by the browser.

Large dialog

Sizes are .dialog-sm, .dialog-lg, .dialog-xl and .dialog-fullscreen.

Slide up

Animation variants: .dialog-slide-up, .dialog-slide-down, .dialog-instant.

Dark dialog

Any element can carry its own data-bs-theme, independent of the page.

Start
Slides in from the inline start edge.
End
The usual choice for navigation and filters.
Top
Good for search and command palettes.
Bottom
Reads as a mobile action sheet.
